We are excited to announce our Grand Opening Celebration on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012 from 1-7pm.

Celebration plans include attendance by cheesemakers from Nevada and the California region (e.g. Karen Bianchi-Moreda from Valley Ford Cheese Co., Tim Pedrozo from Pedrozo Dairy and Cheese, Isidro Alves from Sand Hill Farmstead Cheese, Rick Lafranchi from Nicasio Valley Cheese Company); cheese and wine tasting, live, local music and goats, participation by our neighboring MidTown businesses (fashion show by Dressed Like That!, live improv presented by Good Luck Macbeth), cheese carving demonstration by our very own Louise Brock, YOU, and more!

This class will give you a wealth of knowledge to help you navigate any cheese counter. We will discuss the way cheeses are made and how they are categorized. We will also learn about the major cheesemaking regions of the world. This class includes cheese, wine, bread and accompaniments.

American Classics.

Think French cheese is the best? American cheesemakers are winning more world cheese championships every year. We will taste some of the best from the cheesemaker Pioneers like Laura Chenel and Vermont Butter & Cheese Creamery as well as the innovative up-and-comers in this class. As always, class includes cheese, wine, bread and accompaniments.
